Homemade Irish Cream

This recipe is very easy to make, and has an absolutely fantastic taste. It is perfect as a wonderful last minute gift for the holiday season or anytime. Homemade Irish Cream



Ingredients:

  • 1 cup half & half, or heavy cream

  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

  • 3 tablespoons chocolate syrup

  • 1 teaspoon coffee extract, or instant coffee granules

  • 2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

  • 1⅔ cup (400 ml) Irish whiskey*

  • 1 teaspoon caramel flavoring or extract, or coconut extract, optional

Please note: *Jameson Irish Whiskey is excellent in this recipe.

Method:

  1. This homemade Baileys Irish cream recipe comes together in just minutes.

  2. Simply combine all ingredients, except for the whiskey, and mix in the blender on either the stir speed or the lowest speed, or better yet, mix gently with beaters for just a few seconds.

  3. Once the ingredients are combined, add the Irish whiskey and blend gently for a few more seconds.

  4. Carefully pour the mixture in an airtight bottle and keep chilled in the refrigerator.
